Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4138547
Fifteen laboratories participated in the integational comparison of S/ sup 35/ in June 1952. Twenty results are discussed since the Bureau Central de Mesures Nucleaires, Geel, Belgium, used four methods of measurement and the Institut fur Angewandte Radioactivity, Leipzig, used three methods of measurement. The methods used were the tracer method using a 4 pi counter, the 4 pi counter method, the liquid scintillating method, internal counting of S in the gaseous state, theoretical estimation of the self-absorption using a tracer, and a tracer method using a scintillating liquid to measure the beta activity. The results are given and analyzed in detail. (J.S.R.)
