ON THE DECAY OF $sup 106$Rh

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.

The beta and gamma radiation following the 30 sec decay of Rh/sup 106/ was investigated with a double-focusing beturay spectrometer and single-crystal, coincidence, and sum-coincidence gamma-ray spectrometers. Gamma rays of 0.513, 0.624, 0.87, 0.89, 1.045, 1.14, 1.31, 1.51, Mev were found in the decay of Pd/sup 106/. Relative intensities of beta and gamma rays are reported and a level scheme for Pd/sup 106/ is proposed. Two new levels at 2.02, and 2.88 Mev are added. The intensity measurement of the K and L lines of the 0.513 Mev transition yields a K/LM ratio of 6.15 plus or minus 0.62. (auth)
