Three tantalum targets were bombarded with 660-Mev protons for 4 hr and chemically partitioned 24 hr after irradiation. Conversion-electron spectra of Lu/sup 169/ (1.5 days), Lu/sup 170/ (2 days), Lu/sup 171/ (5.1 days), Lu/sup 172/ (6.7 days), and Lu/su p 173/ (1.4 years) were observed. Relative intensities of Lu/sup 171/ yields Yb/sup 171/ and Lu/sup 172/ yields Yb/sup 172/ are tabulated. (R.V.J.)
