Methods of fabricating tungsten tubing by extrusion and drawing are discussed along with metallographic andd mechandical properties. The effects of iron and silicon additions on single-crystal deformation in zone-refined beryllinm are studied with respect to tensile and compression testing. The development of fabricating techniques for beryllium--uranium andd copper--uranium alloys by SLIS techniques is evaluated. (N.W.R.)
