TERNARY ALLOYS OF URANIUM, COLUMBIUM, AND ZIRCONIUM
Patent

OSTI ID:4131646
Ternary alloys of uranium are described which are useful as neutron- reflecting materials in a fast neutron reactor. They are especially resistant to corrosion caused by oxidative processes of gascous or aqueous origin and comprise uranium as the predominant metal with zirconiunn and niobium wherein the total content of the minor alloying elements is between 2 and 8% by weight.
