The differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of 12.8-Mev deuterons by C/sup 12/, Ni/sup 58/, Ni/sup 60/, and Bi/sup 209/ measured, and the corresponding reaction cross-sections were determined by summing the partial reaction crosssections. The data were analyzed using the optical model of the interaction. 40 references. (auth)
