EMISSION OF FAST FRAGMENTS OF CHARGE 2 IN HIGH-ENERGY NUCLEAR INTERACTIONS (in French)

Journal Article · · J. Phys.

Particles of charge 2 emitted with an energy bet een 200 and 600 Mev in the interactions of 22-Bev protons with emulsion nuclei are studied. The results give the cross section, energy, and angular spectra, and show that such particles are most frequently emitted in many-pronged stars. A theoretical explanation of the production of these particles is suggested. (auth)
