Title: Narrow-band photoelectric observations of three spectroscopic binaries of Wolf--Rayet type: HD 211853, 190918, 192641

Journal Article · · Sov. Astron. AJ (Engl. Transl.), v. 19, no. 2, pp. 157-159
OSTI ID:4129768

In the system HD 211853 (WN6+B0I), eclipses were found in the continuum at lambda 4789 (approx. 0/subm/.1) and in the emission line He II 4684 (approx. 0/subm/.4); the inclination of the orbital plane is i=64--71degree and the mass of the WN6 star is (9.5--13.5)M/sub sun/. In the systems HD 190918 and HD 192641, eclipses were not observed. In the system HD 192641 physical fluctuations in the light were observed and their rms amplitudes were 0/subm/.015 and 0/subm/.020 for the continuum and the intensity of the emission band CII-- CIV, N III lambda 4653, respectively.
