HIGH-DOSE N$sub 2$O DOSIMETER

Journal Article · · Nucleonics (U.S.) Ceased publication
OSTI ID:4126796
Design and operation of nitrous oxide dosimeters are presented. The readout and calibration, Bragg-Gray requirements, temperature dependence, and neutron sensitiv ity are discussed. The dosimeter is capable of measuring gamma dose in mixed or pure gamma fields at 10/sup 7/ to 5 x 10/sup 11/ ergs/g carbon. (R.E.U.)
