THE SECOND VIRIAL COEFFICIENT OF BINARY MIXTURES OF THE HYDROGEN ISOTOPES AND HELIUM AT 20.4 K
The excess second virial coefficient, E, of binary mixtures of the hydrogen isotopss and helium was measured. E for a mixture of a hydrogen isotope with helium is quite large. There is reasonable agreement with the excess values derived from absolute measurements. For mixtures of the hydrogen isotopes, in agreement with theoretical predictions, no excess could be detected.
