ASYMMETRY OF $pi$$sup +$ - $mu$$sup +$ - e$sup +$ -DECAY IN A MAGNETIC FIELD (in Russian)
The dependence of the coefficient of spatial asymmetry in the pi /sup +/ -- mu --e-decay on the magnetic field strength was measured from 0 to 17 kgauss. It is shown that this effect can be explained by the Paschen--Back effect for muonium under the assumption of additional depolarization due to charge exchange at the end of the mu /sup +/-meson range or to exchange collisions after its stoppage. For the NIKFI-R emulsion the minimal value of the asymmetry coefficient is --0.09 plus or minus 0.01 (without the field). The maximal value is --0.29 plus or minus 0.01 (strong fields). The l0% difference between the value of the coefficient --0.29 plus or minus 0.01 ard the value --0.33 predicted by the V--A-theory greatly exceeds the experimental errors. No decays involving three electrons were detected among the 340,000 pi /sup +/-- mu --e- decays examined. (auth)
