Meaurement of electron density in a transient plasma by microwave free space method

Journal Article · · Scientific Papers of the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research
OSTI ID:4122064
A method to improve the accuracy of measurement of electron density in a transient plasma with the microwave interferometer, by making a correction with respect to attenuation of the wave due to the plasma, is described. Experiments were also performed to measure the electron density in a transient linear plasma with the 8 mm microwave interferometer. (auth)
