STIMULATED EMISSION FROM Y$sub 2$$O$$sub 3$:Nd$sup 3$

Journal Article · · Appl. Phys. Letters
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1063/1.1723577· OSTI ID:4119320
The single crystal of Y/sub 2/O/sub 3/ was grown by flame fusion and Nd/ sup 3+/ was included as the active ion. Stimulated emission was observed at 1.073 and 1.078 mu at 77 deg K. The fluorescence spectra are shown for 77 and 300 deg K. (R.E.U.)
