SOLUBILITY PRODUCT OF THE HYDROXIDE OF U(IV) (in Russian)

The solubility product of U(OH)/sub 4/ is evaluated on the basis of data from the potentiometric titration of U(IV) with alkali. The tube potentiometer alpha p-5 was used for determining hydrogen ion activity and the active concentration of U(IV) was determined analytically with considerations for hydrolysis and the magnitude of the ion force. The solubility product is (l.lO plus or minus 0.72) x 10/sup -52/. (R.V.J.)
