RATIO OF CROSS SECTIONS FOR FORMATION OF THE Sc$sup 44$ AND Sc$sup 44$m PAIR IN HEAVY ION REACTIONS (in Russian)

The energy dependence of the ratios of the cross sections for formation of the isomer pair in the reactions Al/sup 27/(Ne/sup 20/ 2pn), Al/sup 27/(Ne/sup 22/, alpha n plus or minus 2p3n), and S/sup 32/(O/sup 16/, 3pn) is me asured. The excitation functions for reactions leading to the formation of Sc/sup 44m/ pi deg and Sc/sup 44/ and also Sc/sup 43/ and Sc /sup 46/ hav e a form that is characteristic of reactions occurring via the compound nucleus. On the basis of the isomer ratio energy dependence it is concluded that scandium isotopes are produced in reactions with collision parameters corresponding to angular momenta < 25 h. (auth)
