The structure and orientation of free radicals formed by ionizing radiations in certain native proteins were investigated. Temperature effects were investigated on free radical formation and electron migration in irradiated proteins. The electron spin resonance of an irradiated single crystal of n- acetylglycine was studied. (W.L.H.)
