A transistor clamping circuit is designed in which drifts due to leakage currents are reduced. The circuit comprises a transistor with its collector connected to a fixed potential, its base connected to a switching terminal so that a switch of the base pctential from the fixed potential can be done only in the direction which brings the transistor into conduction, and its emitter connected to output and input.
