An electrical switching circuit is designed for operation at high speeds. The circuit comprises a row of pairs of signal input terminals, a single pair of signal output terminals, a coupling line common to one input terminal leading to one output terminal, a control line between each second input terminal and the second output terminal, a diode between each second input terminal and its associated control line, and a multi-electrode valve to render conducting each diode in sequence. The circuit has one application in temperature measurements from a large number of thermocouple points in a reactor. (D.L.C.)
