A device for automatically indicating an anomaly or defect occurring at any point in a reactor lattice is designed for use in conjunction with a slug burst detection system. The device comprises a register of addresses of the elements to be indicated on several disks of transparent material, a rotary shaft fast with the disks, a driving motor for rotating the disks, and a screen with an opening placed against the disks so that all but the indicated reference numbers are covered.
