Title: Polarographic Investigation in Molten Alkali Chloride Mixtures. II. Use of a Dropping Bismuth Electrode in the LiCl-KCl Eutectic (in German)

Abstract

Using a dropping Bi electrode, the polarographic behavior of heavy-metal ions in the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic was investigated at 450 deg C. The half-wave potentials are given. An estimation of the Nernst factors showed that the Heyrovsky-Ilkovic equation is valid.
