STRONTIUM-90: CONTRIBUTION TO THE STUDY OF STRATOSPHERIC FALLOUT AND ACCUMULATION ON THE EARTH (in Italian)

During 1962, fallout activity and its content in Sr/sup 90/ were determined monthly and large variations of Sr/sup 90/ in fallout were found. Some details of this phenomenon agree with the supposition of different Sr/sup 90/ stratifications in the biosphere. The total amount of Sr/sup 90/ deposition during 1962 only was the same as the Sr/sup 90/ content in soil in December 1961, that is in a year its content has doubled. (P.C.H.)
