Title: THE QUADRUPOLE MOMENT OF COPPER ISOTOPES AND THE HYPERFINE STRUCTURE OF THE 3d$sup 9$4s$sup 2$$m$$sup 2$D-3d$sup 10$4p$sup 2$P TRANSITIONS IN COPPER I-SPECTRUM (in German)

Using electromagnetically separated isotopes, the hyperfine structure of the transitions 3d/sup 9/4s/sup 2/m/sup 2/D - 3d/sup 10/4/sub p//sup 2/ sP was studied by interference spectroscopy. From the A and B factors of the terms 3d/ sup 9/4s/sup 2/m/sup 2/D/sub 3/>i,/sub 5/>i following values for the quadrupole moments of copper isotopes were calculated: Q(Cu/sup 63/) = (-0.20 plus or minus 0.04) x 10/sup -24/ cm/sup 2/, and Q(Cu/sup 65/ >s = (-0.19 plus or minus 0.04) x 10/sup -24/ cm/sup 2/. Also, the isotope shifts for these transitions were measured. (tr-auth)
