A review is given of the factors involved in the design of multi-Bev proton FFAG accelerators, including magnet weights, equilibrium orbits, linear and nonlinear betatron oscillations, misalignments, and radio-frequency. The general features of radial and spiral sector accelerators which emerge from consideration of these factors are discussed. (auth)
