Generalizations of distorted wave impulse approximation for nuclear ($pi$$sup +$$,$$pi$$sup 0$) reactions

It is shown that corrections to the ordinary distorted-wave impulse approximation are uniquely important for ($pi$$sup +$$,$$pi$$sup 0$) reactions in the 3,3 region and have a significant effect toward improving agreement with the existing experiments. (NL)
