RENORMALIZATION PROBLEM FOR VECTOR MESON THEORIES
The renormalizability problem of the Yang-Mills theory of vector mesons with mass is considered. It is shown that the divergences of such a theory are those of the electrodynamics of charged vector mesons. This general feature is illustrated by direct calculation of the lowest order divergent diagrams. It is concluded that renormalizabi1ity of this theory seems rather unlikely. (auth)
