HYPERNUCLEI PRODUCED BY K$sup -$ INTERACTIONS IN NUCLEAR EMULSIONS. II. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS AND NON-MESIC DECAYS

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.

Sixty possible hypernuclei produced in 1104 K/sup-/ interactions at rest and 415 K/sup -/ interactions in flight, were analyzed. The hypernucleus charge distribution was determined and the non-mesic to pi/sup -/ mesic ratio was given as a function of the hyperfragment charge. The stimulated decay was discussed. The hypernucleus formation probability was estimated. (auth)
