>Preliminary data are presented from studies on the inclusion of irradiated shrimp in the diet of dogs and rats. Data are included on thyroid lesions in 102 miscellaneous dogs on normal diets. Measurements were made of protein-bound iodine in the serum of normal rats and rats and dogs maintained on a diet containing irradiated shrimp. (C.H.)
