THE EFFECT OF FOCUSING VOLTAGES ON THE RESOLVING POWER OF PHOTOMULTIPLIERS

For the JENA multiplier types M 12 FS 35, M 12 FS 60, and M 12 FS 100, as well as for type M 12 FS, investigations are carried out on the dependence of the energy resolution and the multiplication coefficient on the voltage ratios in the transmission system between the photocathode and the second dynode. For each type the most favorable electron-optical working conditions are given. (auth)
