PHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF THORIUM IN NATURAL MATERIALS BY MEANS OF ARSENAZO III (in Russian)

Conditions are specified for thorium determination in the presence of rare earths and zirconium by means of arsenazo III, and a photometric method is suggested for the determination of 0.0002-0.5% of Th in complex natural materials. Iodate separntion from a tartaric-nitric acid medium in the presence of hydrogen peroxide was used for thorium separation from the accompanying elements (Zr, Ca, and rare earths). (auth)
