STUDY OF THE INDUSTRIAL POTENTIAL OF RADIOISOTOPIC METHODS IN THE SYNTHETIC DETERGENT AND SOAP INDUSTRY. Quarterly Progress Report No. 1, March 1-May 29, 1959

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4084706
Results are reported from a survey of the soap and synthetic detergent manufacturing industry to determine the potential for applying radioisotope techniques to research, development, and manufacturing problems. As a result of an extensive literature search and visits to several manufacturing facilities, it was learned that present uses of radioisotopes have been mainly in research with some plant process-control applications. Research and processcortrol uses are outlined. Several possible applications for new radioisotope techniques are suggested. (C.H.)
