THE ELECTRON SPECTRUM OF $sub 81$Tl$sup 19$$sup 9$

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
The electron spectrun between 5.75 and 950 kev of mass separated Tl/sup 199/ sources was studied in a double focusing BETA -spectrometer, adjusted to a momentum resolution of about 0.4%. The experimental findings are in accordance with the following level sequence in Hg/sup 199/: ground state (.5-), 158.4 (5/2- ), 208.2 (3/2-), 403.4 (1/2-), measured as 7.42 plus or minus 0.08 h. The K- and L-Auger spectra of mercury are briefly discussed. (auth)
