Thesis submitted to Unlversite, Paris. The total production cross section of gamma accompanied by charged secondaries in pi p interactions between 0.5 and 1.5 Bev/c was measured. The cross section of the reaction pi / sup +/ p yields pi /sup +/ pi /sup 0/ p was obtained. Only the coros s section of pi /sup -/ p yields pi /sup 0/ + (charged particles) could be determined because the lack of information on multiple production. The experimental results were compared with the predictions of simple production models. A method for calculation of high energy gamma -ray efficiency of detectors with lead converters is given.
