The principle of the MacMahon converter was used to develop a 100- channel converter with a maximum conversion time of 500 nsec. The principle is discussed in some detail before the functional parts of the converter are described. The converter developed is ten times faster than commercial ones. The same information can be obtained in I/10th of the time, and it can analyze the same phenomena with 10 times more points. (J.S.R.)
