A low-level counting installation for measurement of very weak BETA activities is described. Eight G-M thin-window counters are surrounded by a single anticoincidence ring, and then by steel, borated paraffin, and lead shielding. The eight counters can work at the same time without any interaction. Each of them has an overall efficiency of 0.36 and a background of 0.28 cpm. (auth)
