A portion of the mechanical tests of Pfaudler and TRW coated 30 mil B-88 and D-43 niobium alloy sheet is completed. Data are presented from one atmosphere cyclic oxidation tests at 1600, 2000, 2300, and 2600 deg F. Tensile data for uncoated and coated sheet are reported at room temperature to 2300 deg F. The tensile behavior of coated B-66 and D-43 alloy sheet is discussed relative to the behavior of uncoated sheet. Preliminary results of creep tests in air at 2000 and 2300 deg F conducted on coated B-66 and D-43 alloy sheet are presented. (auth)
