Tubercle bacilli exposed to direct cosmic radiation for 104 days at 2300 m showed a significantly lower virulence than that kept in the laboratory or exposed to cosmic radiation at sea level. After reinoculation of the original culture there is a marked decrease of virulence. (C.E.S.)
