The characteristics of Siloe are tabulated, and the solutions to the problems posed by the flux increase are reported. Although Siloe is a classical swimming pool reactor, it has original features in its control system and use of flywheels on the primary pumps. These are discussed. Siloette, a small reactor for routine measurements on a core identical to that of Siloe but with low power (less than 100 kw), is briefly described. (J.S.R.)
