Distribution of Radioactive Iron in Pregnant Mice Studied by Whole Body Autoradiography

Journal Article · · Acta Radiologica
Iron-59 was administered intravenously, and in a few experiments perorally and subcutaneously, to groups of pregnant mice, and the distribution studied in sections of the whole animals by an autoradiograpic technique. The uptake of the iron in the organs of the mother and fetus at various intervals is described and discussed.
