CALCULATION OF THE ABSORPTION RATES OF $pi$$sup -$ MESONS BY NUCLEI (in French)

The probabilities for the absorption of pi mesons in mesic atoms was calculated by assuming an absorption by nucleon pairs and by using the production amplitudes of pi mesons. The corresponding imaginary optical potential was constructed. Experimental results are in good agreement with the hypothesis of pair absorption. (tr-auth)
