PHOTOELECTRIC METHOD FOR SCANNING DOPPLER SHIFTS OF SPECTRAL LINES (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Pribory i Tekhn. Eksperim.
OSTI ID:4069751

A tentative method for scanning the Doppler shift of spectral lines is described. The method permits greater accuracy than other methods and has a scanning rate independent of the motion of the luminescent object. The essence of the method consists of photoelectric detection and comparison of two light beams received obliquely to the spectral line division. The calibration method is described. The method is examined experimentally by means of a rotating plasma. (tr-auth)
