A BINARY TO DECIMAL CONVERTER FOR KICKSORTER READOUT

A solid-state binary-to-decimal conventer for kicksorter rsadout is described. The unit convents a binary number from a kicksorter channel into decimal form by a pulse counting technique and then presents the decimal irformation, as binary coded voltage signals on four output lines, at rates up to 10/sup 4/ decimal digits per sec. The output is suitable for recording by sequential devices such as typewriters, paper tape punches, and magnetic tape recorders. (auth)
