PROGRESS REPORT ON RADIOACTIVITY IN MARINE ENVIRONMENT, 1963

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4062960
Data are presented from measurements of the gross BETA activity, gamma spectra, and /sup 90/Sr content of plankton samples collected during 1981, 1982, and 1983 in the Ligurian and Adriatic Seas. Collections were made at various depths for studies of species, biomass, chemical composition, and radioactivity. Procedures were developed for /sup 90/Sr extraction from plankton and other marine biological materials. Data are included on the /sup 90/Sr content in cuttiebone of the Ligurian and Adriatic Seas. A list of publications during the period covered by this report is included. (C.H.)
