TABLE OF ESTIMATED CROSS SECTIONS FOR (n,p), (n,/cap alpha/) AND (n,2n) REACTIONS IN A FISSION NEUTRON SPECTRUM

A list of estimated activation cross sections of (n,p), (n, alpha ), and (n,2n) reactions in a fission neutron spectrum is presented for a few long-lived radionuclides and the stable isctopes of elements from lithium to bismuth. It is also shown how to obtain from these quantities the cross sections for any fast- neutron-reactor spectrum and in particular for fast-neutron spectra typical of several irradiation positions of the NHX and NRU reactors at Chalk Hiver.
