Recovery of EDTA from metal-EDTA complex solutions by different methods such as acidification, removal of metal ions by hydroxide, and precipitation as sulfide and oxalate is discussed from the theoretical point of view. Experimental data are presented for the recovery of EDTA and metal contents from rare earth; copper-, iron-, calcium-, cadmium-, lead-, and bismuth-EDTA solutions, employing these methods. (auth)
