Journal Article · · Nippon Igaku Hoshasen Gakkai Zasshi (Japan)
OSTI ID:4048176

Cases with abnormal blood pictures due to radiation exposures were picked from the radiological workers at Tohoku University to determine characteristic blood pictures of occupational radiation hazards. The study was carried out on persons with less than 1500 lymphocytes and less than 5000 leukocytes for 2 successive examinations. Decreased total leukocyte and neutrophil-cell counts with unchanged lymphocyte count, decreased counts of total leukocytes, neutrophil cells, and lymphocytes, and almost unchanged total leukocytes and neutrophil-cell counts with decreased lymphocyte count were observed.
