A method for overcoming the temperature and pressure limitations of conventional techniques for measuring equilibrium thermodynamic data has been developed. It can be applied to conducting materials that can be resistively heated and that do not disassociate in the liquid phase. This makes its application to the determination of pure liquid-metal thermodynamic data of great value.
