Various types of natural-separation and mechanical dryers were tested for efficient removal of moisture droplets from steam. Primary separation of steam can be effected by natural separation and secondary separation by a mechanical dryer. A mesh-type mechanical dryer was selected for use in Pathfinder secondary sepsration.
