ON THE ACTIVITY OF INTRACELLULAR DNASE OF ESCHERICHIA COLI B AFTER X- IRRADIATION

No significant differences were found between the desoxyribonuclease activity in irradiated and unirrsdiated Escherichia coli cells. Possible reaction mechanisms involved in the degradation of desoxyrioonucleic acid in Escherichia coli are discussed. (C.H.)
