A STUDY OF FUEL DEPLETION AND CONTROL ROD PROGRAMMING IN THE YANKEE REACTOR

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4042745
A study was made of the effects of fuel depletion and control rod programming on the power density distribution in the Yankee reactor. Values of the nuclear hot channel factors, F/sub Q/ and F/sub sub D//sub D//sub T/, were calculated at various stages of fue l burnup and estimates of control rcd worth and core lifetime were made.
