METHODS OF MEASURING PERSONNEL DOSES IN SUBJECTS WORKING WITH IONIZING RADIATION (in Czech)

Journal Article · · Sb. Lekar.
OSTI ID:4034586
The efficiency of personnel dosimeters was checked. In new pocket ionizing chambers, which are described, reproducibility was approximates 15%, in selected chambers 5%. With pencil dosimeters the reproducibility of measurement for /sup 60/Co gamma radiation was 7%. With film dosimeters the reproducibility averaged 20%, because it was impossible to select, in advance, films of identical sensitivity. Also described are some measurements with a simple photometer and with a dosimeter with an electrometric tube (2N E 9) signaling when a preselected dose is exceeded. (BBB)
